I haven't updated in three months, so after much begging, pleading, and finally threatening by certain individuals I am finally updating my blog again! Hopefully I will be a bit better at this during the New Year.
During December I went on holiday to Cape Town. The experience was amazing, and I am beginning to consider studying at the University of Cape Town for a year or two.
My plan for this year is complete my Honours degree in Political Science to match the Honours degree I already have in Economics. Hopefully tomorrow I will be allowed to register for that course. I am also continuing with French classes this year, and it looks like it is going to be quite hard.
Well, this is just a brief note to let everybody know I am still alive. It's midnight now, so I'm a bit too tired for a long post. I've also put up some holiday pictures I took with my cellphone if anybody is interested.
Until my next post (soon!)
Much love,François

Cape Town is on my list of places to visit before I die; I hope you feel refreshed for this new year!
I'm amazed Obama hasn't called me yet. I did practically win the election for him with my endorsement. The least I was hoping for was a nice job...
Yay! Welcome back!
FINALLY YOU'RE BACK
And finish studying already! LOL.
No Cape Town is best place. I was born there and spent a good deal of my life so far there. By far better than Joeys. Would love to hear your opinions on COPE.
Good Luck on your semester ahead!
Hello There! I saw your site on Mike's Xanga. I thought you had a very interesting Xanga name, so I wanted to stop by and say hello! Very cool Xanga you have here!
Dear François,
Thanks for the visit. I've been posting about once a week. Three months is a long time!
Good luck getting the honors degree.

I tried to reply at Dollarish but it kept asking me to join...So anyway. I agree that there is not a full fledged panic at the moment but to me all the signs show we are headed for something worse than the 1930's Depression. Industry won't collapse in the US as it did during the Great Depression because there's hardly any US industry left to collapse!. The steel cities in PA and OH are now called "rust belts." Clothes, toys, you name it are mostly made in China. Electronics and cars are from Japan. The US is largely service oriented and information oriented but much of the IT work is being steadily outsourced. The 1930's didn't have the massive credit card debt we have or mortgage debt or the massive government debt. The 1930's did have one thing, Independent farming, and that kept a lot of people from starving - but now that's been mostly conglomarized. All these things paint a scary picture but even worse is the underlying move to use this as means to destroy US sovereignty. my article "Barreling Towards Babyon" describes this historically documented agenda.
Hey man - haven't seen you around for a long time.
Interestingly enough, we just finished reading Cry, the Beloved Country recently. Thought of this.
Am now a senior; was accepted to University of Chicago yesterday, and am anxiously waiting for Princeton and Harvard's rejection letters come this Tuesday.
Hope you're doing well, both in life and studies.
And, please continue posting.
